I have been in the hair and beauty industry for nearly 10 years, during this time i have worked for several salons i have decided to use the experience i have gained during this time to set up Serah's Hair and Beauty Treatments. This way i can offer a wider range of treatments rather than ones limited to each individual salon.
Serahs Hair and Beauty Treatments allows me to offer clients a wide range of treatments that some salons are not able to offer.
The benefits of a mobile hair and beauty service is that you dont have to try to find the time to get to the salon and find somewhere to park or have to get on the bus etc... This way you get all of the salon services in the comfort of your own home.

This is the newest and most talked about spray tanning product around. Extremely natural, extraordinary results and extra confidence. Sienna spray tan is the newest spray tan and products widely used in the media and has become a firm favorite with many top journalists and tv shows, take a look at a few of many below.

What makes Sienna spray tan products so great? Therapists and specialists have tested and used our products over the past 5 years. As well as active DHA, Sienna products are enriched with aloe vera, and other natural top quality ingredients to actively moisturise and nourish your skin.
How does it work? The way the tanning reacts is simular to how an apple goes brown when you take a bite from it and leave it. The sugar and the amino acids in the apple react with the oxygen in the air snd turns it brown.
The solution used for tanning contains an active ingredient, this combined with amino acids on the skin and oxygen in the air turns the skin golden brown, giving a lastin tan.
How long will the procdure take? The tanning treatment will take approximatly 10 mins and an additional few mins to dry.
How long will it last? The tan will last for approximatly5-7 days, as the skin sheds dead cells so your tan will fade. The key to look after your tan is to keep the skin moisturised.
Is is safe? YES, It is much safer than exposing your skin to the sun rays, but you still get the great tanned look. DHA has been approved by the FDA for use in the personal care industry for over 30 years. Allergic reactions are extremely rare and if you have experienced allergic reactions to self-tanning or other beauty products please arrange a skin patch test first.
Can i use the sun beds or tan outdoors with the spray tan The answer to this question is yes. Sienna spray tan is ideal to have prior to going on holiday as your skin will be bronzed from the day you arrive giving you the confidence to expose your skin whilst catching a natural tan. It is advised that normal sun protection is used as Sienna spray tan does not give protection against the suns ultraviolet light. Remember the sun dries the skin out, reducing the longevity of your spray tan.
What will happen during the tanning treatment? During your tanning treatment your therapist will explain the procedure that is going to take place. Your therapist will allow you to get undressed and wear what you personally feel comfortable in, whether this is old under wear, swim suit or bare. Removal of jewellery is required. Next barrier cream will be applied to the hands, tops of the feet and dry areas to prevent them tanning to much.The tanning will take place in a portable cubical.
What do i wear for the tanning? It is advised to wear old dark under wear or swin wear that you do not mind staining, any colour that does rub off onto your clothes will usually wash out in a normal cycle wash, bear in mind that all materials have a potential of staining so old clothing is advised.
How dark will i get?
There are different strengths that the therapist will have, however, you will be advised by your therapist the best one for your skin tone. Some people like to keep a natural tan all year round. If you want a really dark, deep long lasting tan we suggest you book a second tanning appointment 48hrs after your first session.
How do i prepare for my spray tan? To get the best possible results from your spray tan it is advised that you exfoliate prior to your treatment, paying particular attention to the dry areas, such as your elbows, knees and ankles.
Do not moisturise on the day of your tanning as this will act as a barrier.
Wax/shave 24-48hrs prior to your tanning as this will allow time for the pores to close. Not adhering to this advice will result in dotting in the pores.
Paint nails, especially if artificial
Remove all make up, deodorant and lotion etc... before your tan
Refrain from eye lash tinting 24hrs before
It is advised to have a skin patch test if you have sensitive skin
Immediatly after you tan: Wear old dark loose clothing and flip flops, as some of the sspray tan may rub off onto your clothes and shoes can cause your feet to perspire.
Do not shower or bath until the development time (At least 8 hrs) after the spray tan
Do not exercise or swim during the development time
Try not to rub or smudge the tan as this will have an effect on the final result.
Do not apply cream or foundation until after the post tanning shower as this is fresh tan.
After showering/bathing pat the skin dry do not rub
After 5 days exfoliate the skin to help the tan fade evenly
Long exposure to the sun, exercising and sweating will fade the tan quicker than normal.
